Kavana Saumalu

Talofa! My name is Kavana Saumalu, my age is 43 (I know I look younger – coconut oil does wonders for your complexion) I’m Samoan and proud! I’m happily married to the girl of my dreams, Lilly.  We have four beautiful kids – Tavita, Losa, Moana and our youngest, Billy who is adopted from Lilly’s side.

I used to play in a band back in the day – well it wasn’t that long ago.  Ask your parents they will probably know me – The All Star Band - we were famous back in those days, every Saturday down at the Mangere Tavern that was the place to be.

I love my kids, they are number one.  And my Father – also number one.  And Lilly – a’e okay they are all numela tasi to me! I work at Murdoch Textiles – it’s a Factory job and I love it, got a lot of good mates there and I get to see my beautiful wife in the Factory canteen every day haha (she even gives me free food too – don’t tell the boss)

I was pretty good at sport back in the day too, I loved boxing.  If I could do it all over again… I could’ve been the champion of the world.
