Winners in my eyes

I said to my Grandkids, put your trust in God and we will be victorious today. Thank you to the Lord above my Grandson was there for us. They sang their hearts out tonight. They gave it their all – effort from the heart. I love these kids.

Sometimes it’s not about the win – but about the part we play in the game. It’s not luck that we got the wild card tonight in the competition – it’s our destiny.  Something is guiding us to make it to the end.  Those judges, they don’t know.  “History Channel”.  They should do their research and look at what they are singing - plastic songs. These judges are blinded by the media telling them what is good, what is popular…. This is more than a competition, it is a celebration of life and our past. We won in my eyes…well done kids. I deliberately stayed off stage when you collected your applause at the end – I wanted to see you with my own eyes.  All four of you, standing there.  It made my heart hurt with pride and with alofa for you all. Well done.
