Aiga, our community – what will get us through

So much mixed emotion, confusion and uncertainty.  A stark contrast from my last blog full of admiration and new found understanding. Murdoch Textiles could potentially be up for sale.  I am silenced with love at my husband and father in-law and their dedicated support for the workers of the factory. I’m at a loss for words… I’m unsure of what this means for my family and the future.  As we congregated in our back yard tonight, I looked around and saw families who have been in the factory before my time there. The look on their faces said it all.  At this time, we all need to pull strength from each other and have faith that although the future is uncertain, there is certainty in us as an Aiga, as a community and that alone will get us through.  And we will.
