I know you’ve got it in you, Dad.  Keep fighting.  I need you.

I am… lost.  Dad… if you can somehow hear me… please… wake up.  I can’t do this without you.  You are my rock, you are the one I look up to.  I’m a grown man, I know that, but without you here I feel like a child again.  I’m so… I don’t know what to do, all I can do is sit by your side and sing, hoping you can hear me.  I love you so much, and I know you can make it through… you always try to be so young and fit but I really wish I had asked you to slow down, take it easy… you were so happy though…

I’ve got nothing else to say… like your song says, my body’s aching… that’s how I feel, how I haven’t stopped feeling, my whole body aches for you and aches for the hope that you will wake up.  Please Dad
